A) How long does the board need to stay there?

I dont know much about how sim cards work, but say I have a mobile broadband dongle with its own sim card, could I take the sim out and stick it in a 3G smartphone (unlocked of course) or would I need a seperate/different sim for the phone?

If say I purchased a day travel card to London (from Ipswich) via NXEA, would this also be valid on any or most of the London Overground routes on the NLL or do I need a seperate travel card for overground?
