As someone who has used this lift many times I can say that there is NO Penalty Warning signage on the Merseyrail Platform where you get the lift upto Lime St. That could be due to the fact that the corridor to the lift from the platform is narrow.

There are two exits at Moorfields - there is the Moorfields exit and the Old Hall St exit. I have seen a desk at the Moorfields exit being used during a block and passengers being sold tickets as they have been unable to buy a ticket at theor origin station. (I regularly commute to Moorfields)

Thanks for the unwarranted dig. As a Civil Servant I *was* supposed to be in the office today - that was until I got a message yesterday afternoon to say NOT to come into the office due to a flood and instead work from home. Which is exactly what I will do from 07.45 this morning.

I would take the job that you think would be the most interesting and has the most chances to lead you to do something different. I have been a Cvivl Servant for 34 years, and 3 times I have had the opportunity to do a different job role and taken the opportunity every time and not regretted...

Its happened to me 3 times in the Civil Service and you will be shocked to hear that none of the changes really benefit to me. I am not leaving though with 34 years in.

Thank you - and your right I regularly ask members if they have any issues and talk to my management team about them and more importantly provide feedback. That way they see the Union doing something for them and it hopefully persuades non-members to join !.

Most unions will only agree to represent a member for issues arising from the date of joining, they don`t wont officially represent for issues that occurred prior to joining ( I am a Union rep in a Civil Service department and officially my Union won`t represent for any incidents that happened...
