In your opinions, is the Hornby Railroad Grand Central HST a good standard of model? I know its fictitious in that their power cars had buffers and this model does not.
Is the level of detail reasonable? (Not bothered about super detail). Is it a good runner?
Seen a great price bundle and...
Nobody matches the quality of LSL stock. Do any of the other stock providers invest to that standard? Will they? Can they afford to?
Some of the WCR stock is looking shabby, inside and out. I noticed similar rusty rooves to those above, the other day.

And/or do any...
What traction is likely to be used on the Pathfinder Cambrian Coast Express from Cardiff to Pwllheli on Friday 5th September, please?
Thanks in advance.

In the 80s I used to have an East Midlands Ranger for a week each Summer. Did Cleethorpes to King's Cross trains as far as I could sometimes. Remember leaning out of the droplights as it threaded and curved its way through the...
I have a feeling that it might end up being railtours provided by LSL, WCRC and the odd ad hoc tour here and there with stock provided by ERS and the 125 Preservation Society.
As technology advances, would this open opportunities for rail freight movement in the future?
Today, the huge marshaling yards like Tinsley could have been managed by intelligent technology.
Could freight yards and smaller depots for onward road transport.be made to work? It would need blue...
