On the weekends with full closures a rail replacement bus service is due to run between St Neots and Bedford, linking the 2 lines. Also one between Stevenage - Luton Airport Parkway and another Hatfield - St Albans. This is alongside north - south buses.

It may look worse than it is. Moorgate is closed for planned engineering and the trains are rescheduled to go to/from Kings Cross. Some sources are showing the Moorgate ones as cancelled “CAN” and the replacements separately as “STP”

Think 4 will happen in 2020, once the Moorgate cleaning project is complete. Would be good to think it could be May, but suspect it is more likely to be Dec.

The Contactless fares aren’t all the same from both WGC and Hatfield - they are certainly different to London Kings Cross and Finsbury Park.

If the second train is a ThamesLink one, you only need to worry about what train you get at boundaries between Off-peak and Peak, as tickets aren't issued for specific trains - so you'll be fine at this time of day, if you do need to get a later one. Struck through as shown below to be incorrect

It took a few days after the August extensions before the TfL website was fully updated with those. Tomorrow appears to be the official launch day.
