You essentially get 2 'home' days, so if you leave or arrive Chesterfield and do the Eurostar journey on the same day you will be fine.
As for the second point, I think there are different minimum connection times in different places but I'd go for the earlier one to be safe. However, I never...
I have noticed today using Trainsplit (and subsequently checked on BR Fares) that Groupsave-discounted fares are 5p lower than Railcard-discounted fares. I assume this is because Groupsave is still a 34% discount, whereas Railcards are now 33.34%.
I don't think this is intentional, is anyone...
On the parts of the design I've seen, it's been designed to be operational in a 1 in 1000 year flood event. Obviously there's a size of storm that could render it non-operational but it will be much more resilient than the "classic" railway
Basel SBB and Berlin Südkreuz both have footbridges, as do Warsaw Zachodnia and Warsaw Centralna (although that is underground so doesn't really count)

It's because the "Any permitted" fares are for a wider cluster of origins and destinations. A cheaper fare has been defined between Oxford and Kings Sutton only which would normally automatically overrule the wider area's fare. However, some genius has come up with the route ".", so the more...
I believe on TGVs you have to have a luggage tag with name and address if you want to put it in the luggage racks. I don't know how well enforced this is.
I would be more inclined to trust the Man in Seat 61. The wording in le Monde was slightly ambiguous anyway, possibly as a result of it's translation from French.
Interesting - I got a similar email 2 days ago but was only offered a 50% refund if travelling.
I'd expect OEBB to be fairly prompt with the refund, they're normally pretty good
Do you know if it be possible to implement this, or would it be an accreditation failure?
Getting this sort of thing right would really help passengers understand train tickets - ticket flexibility is one of the main sources of confusion
