Girlfriend bought me this from the model centre in Whitby, lovely loco, been weathered and renumbered also. Model shop there was one of the best I’ve visited and lovely location too:D
Sorry if it’s been mentioned but I just saw 755417, and saw some purple logo just under the cab windows, couldn’t really make it out as it past my train so didn’t have time to read what it said?
I think there is engineering work on Saturday between Doncaster and Leeds so LNER are taking a diversionary route which means it’ll be Azumas. If it’s the same as last weekend no class 91’s will be out, sorry to spoil your plans:frown:
Would Stevenage count? If you want to go from p1,2,3 or 4 to p5 you have to go through the ticket barriers, walk out and over to some stairs which lead down to p5:)
I’ve voted for HST as I’ve grown up with them, however doesn’t mean I dislike the 800/1’s, I’ve started to take quite a liking to the appearance of the LNER Azumas.
Thanks for the info! I did start to wonder what the point of the newly laid track in the yard was as it never got used and started to have some overgrow haha
Earlier this week there was a freight working to Lowestoft, with a return the next day with a Colas 56. Does anybody know if this will become a regular thing? As being from the area it would be nice to see some freight for a change! Thanks in advance:D
Just wondering if anyone knew how long the speed restrictions for the fast lines at Peterborough station will be for? Visited for a few hours the other day and all the through trains were crawling through and I noticed the speed restrictions signs up. Thanks in advance :)
