I noticed that GBRF states the number of the loco but no little pictures however I came across one with a little picture of a 66, it was pictured with a 73 and some sleeper stock, does anyone know if there’s plans to add little pictures to all of the GBRF allocations? I do find them rather cool:D
Few years back greater Anglia hired in a couple of London Midland 153’s after one of their 156’s was involved in an incident, I remember hearing a few passengers comment things along the lines of “ this can’t be our train as this isn’t a greater Anglia train”
For the first time today I noticed on the info screen on one of these units it said a particular coach was ‘full’. I’ve been on busier services in the past and the screens still showed green empty seats in each carriage. Is this a recent change or have I just been oblivious? :lol:
I think so too, I remember years back I saw someone had done a photoshop of a 66 in the yellow and blue BR logo livery and I thought ew, but in reality it does look good! :D
Just a bit of fun I was just wondering what all your favourite ‘special liveries’ were on the network, past or present. I think 91110 Battle of Britain is my personal favourite but I do also like the BR logo 66 for some reason!
Years ago me and my sister were on the train to Norwich and the guard sold us tickets on the train, both of us were over 15 so I asked for two adult tickets and he said as my sister looked younger he would give her a child ticket as it was cheaper, he sold me an adult ticket even tho my sister...
