Some station signs have now been updated to show the new station, plus a sticker covering the future Liverpool Baltic station between Central and Brunswick. This is at Moorfields.
This drivers eye view video gives a good update of progress. I'm not sure exactly the filming date but it was uploaded 2 weeks ago. I haven't watched it entirely but piles and masts stretch almost all the way to Wigston.
Looking at Realtimetrains today for Portsmouth to Bristol.
6 3-car services
8 4-car services
2 5-car services
Considering for many years all trains were 3 cars this does seem to be an improvement.
Looks like only at peak times (unless this changes). A welcome return of course.
Additional trains:
07:08, 08:08, 09:08 Liverpool - Birmingham
10:08 Liverpool - Crewe
16:08, 17:08, 18:08 Liverpool - Birmingham
20:08 Liverpool - Crewe
I found a YouTube channel with four driver training videos for the current resignalling between Ravensthorpe and Cottingley. Also shows new speed limits and station upgrades.

The two double-sided outdoor screens are now on. And scaffolding is up inside covering the old departure boards, presumably for their removal.
From my observations the new boards do keep the routes from the entrances to the platforms clear of people waiting.
Also Avanti staff allowed...
Taken from the North side of a train heading towards Kirkby, the first two photos are looking west, the second two east (ie looking back from my train). Hope that makes sense, the site is much larger and more complex than I expected.
Not the best photography but I haven't seen too many images of the construction site. Taken from a passing train 10/10/2022.
The platform edge wall is visible.
Liverpool Lime Street was renumbered a few years back, when the old platform 1 disappeared and 2 new platforms were added between the old platforms 7 and 7. So now the station is still numbered continuously, from 1 to 10.
This coincided with major work to remodel the track work and install a...
A good idea in my opinion, maybe with Great British Railways (GBR) we will have a national standard for platform zoning. Rather than each operator doing their own thing.
Looks fresh, I like it! Nice to have plugs and USB A at every seat, plus wireless chargers in the tables. No comment on the seats because I don't want to start a fight
A is the CLC (Cheshire Lines Committee) route.
B is the former line from Garston to Stockport via Warrington Bank Quay low level. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warrington_and_Altrincham_Junction_Railway
