I disagree with this. The railway prefers to use it's own power supply. In remote areas batteries are used or rarely a mains supply if there is no other option.

I tried it two years ago, found it very enjoyable. The ticket I bought was inclusive of the breakfast, it appeared that one carriage was designated for breakfast customers so that was where my reservation was.
