Hi folks, Anyone one else use the Hive system to control their heating?
I have used the web application for some time and found it very useful, but now when I attempt to logon on my laptop via the internet I get a message saying
"Your account must have a verified phone number and Two Factor...
This reminds me of the time I was going to Scotland from Leyland with work, 30+ years ago. The Preston train from Manchester to Blackpool had been cancelled, a morning commuter train. The inter-city Manchester to Scotland (Manchester/Liverpool to Glasgow/Edinburgh) slowly came down Platform 1 to...
I also wonder if it is a cost saving exercise, reduce the number of First Class seats, so less staff in First Class required.
I also wonder if the market south from the North West is busier and London bound/based people are prepared to pay a higher SP supplement. But from the North West north...
My experience exactly. £7.90 with railcard, Preston to Glasgow Advance Standard. £44.65 1st. £24.40 SP with 25% early booking discount.
The lounge at Glasgow Central was often worth a call.
But for now, its always Standard. I would move to SP if the train was very busy, but as yet, have not...
Well yes, if those people pay Standard Premium or a higher First class fare. But not if they drop to standard. But I am sure it has been calculated that the overall change in fares will attract a higher income, and presumably less staffing costs.
Many years ago, on a touring holiday around India, the tour organiser hired a bogie (coach) which we travelled around in. Coupling up to various trains to take us to places around India. We slept in it overnight (folding camp beds in the lounge area or on the luggage racks) and cooked in the...
Thanks, its a 15 minute change, from Hull to the Blackpool train.
I would have thought a Google search would have found this information easily, but it didn't.
Hello
I was trying to find the transfer time between services at Leeds. I tried a few Google searched, but nothing relevant came up.
Is someone able to tell me where I find this information or what I need to search for?
Thanks
Thanks for the replies. I guess it is a significant up front capital cost and low usage fees, or rental. Although the buses I use appear to have the same ticketing machines.
They are Lancashire County Council tendered services. Tyrers coaches and Rosso-Transdev appear on Bustimes but Holmeswood...
I travel on various bus routes, some you can follow online, others not.
What does a bus company have to do to provide this information, and will there be a cost to the bus company?
All the buses appear to have the same equipment, i.e. a scanner to read the QR code on my ticket.
So pre Standard Premium on a weekend journey, she paid £45 for the family (£15 each Weekend First supplement), which gave her a first class carriage and complementary food/drink.
Post Standard Premium on a weekend journey, she pays £75 for the family (£25 each Standard Premium supplement)...
I am not sure I understand this, is this a summary of what she is saying?
Previously - Paid £45 for family to sit in First with accompanying complementary food/drink.
Now - Paid £75 for family to sit in Standard Premium with out the complementary food/drink.
I expect this is a weekday journey...
Can anyone remember how it worked when the Golf came to Lytham several years ago? A much more intense shuttle Preston to Lytham and a less intense shuttle Lytham to Blackpool South? It may have been St. Annes rather than Lytham railway station.
So it is not such 'a completely random idea' as...
That's OK, but the OP hasn't specifically said he is going to reply with the information he has been asked to give, only that his daughter is on the case. Lets hope his daughter can work out the time of his arrival at the station based on the arrival of the train in the opposite direction and...
The OP has made an appeal, he has received a reply which he quotes in post #42. It would appear he did not tell them the time he arrived at the station, so they have asked for this information. Hopefully his photographs have a date stamp, or he can calculate his arrival time based on the fact...
