Guys/girls I'm looking into the possibility of travelling home on leave using the sleeper from Plymouth to waterloo (due to reading being shut). now i've never used it before i usually go for the 0553 out of PLY to catch the 1120 GC, but i'm having to work late so i'm loking at the sleeper on...
IIRC the yellow denotes the First Class end of the unit and the blue standard, voyagers have a similar thing on the dellner coupling with a yellow line on the top. hope this helps
Just thinking, as DBS and GBRF are repainting there fleets to there corporate colours. Are Freightliner planning doing there 66 fleet in the near future to tie in with the 70 fleet (Powerhaul Livery) and the couple of polish 66's in said powerhaul or can we expect them to stay as they are for...

it also says in the DEC issue of rail express that colas are going to be trialling it as well. that would be great if it was used on the Durham Coast route as i've never seen one in the north east especially round my neck of the woods.
So 70099 is going to GBRf, so will this mean a full repaint?

It has been confirmed that GBRf are to use/trail 70099 (DHLT) which is currently at Brush Traction, Loughborough. It has been indicated it will be deployed to the Doncaster area coal circuit.
IIRC GC normally have one onboard from KGX to york and then do a swap over with another, so the KGX cleaner goes on the next southbound and his/her releif goes back north.

Having had a look at the mock ups on the website, i think whilst its not the most asthetically pleasing of loco's, i does imo look quite good in DB Red and the Cl58 livery.
