I was born and raised in Bishops Stortford. I am too totally mythed by this idea. I do believe a link to Harlow taking in Stansted Airport as a terminus and it would work. Proper trams though...

Timetables show the bus averages 40 mins St Ives to Cambridge. On XC we average 50mins Cambridge to Peterborough so how the hell do they think it will be faster...
There is a sinking signal gantry on the Down before Daw Mill. Pretty sure the line speed will stay at 70.. The re-signalling is for capacity. First section in action Abbey jct to Coleshill end of this month? Cambridge now has some signal changes. Can't understand why they have to have a T for...
Some of it yes.. The Lynn road has 90mph plus we have a small section on the Down near Dimmocks Cote at 90.. Why not 80-85mph then? I understand it's not time savings but if current timetable kept it would be useful when delayed... Providing Cambs power box don't ruin it...:lol:

Once again im being mis understood. It's a bit of a joke if people want a Thread deleted because it's a Drivers view of how traction has become.
As its my mobile office i can't see why i can't view on a forum like this..
There are major design flaws in how units are designed. Not necessarily all...
