Thanks for the correction, yes that makes sense! To confirm, from Reggio IC564 was a unit (412046) and IC566 hauled by D445-1112, so the 0830 from Taranto should be hauled tomorrow as booked.

The units are new, 4-car class 412 hitachi hybrid units (nicknamed ‘blue’ units). There’s also new 3-car variants (class 312)

Update for @Iskra: today 0830 Taranto - Reggio is D445-1128 on 3 IC coaches. As diagrammed there is a unit in the sidings at Taranto (412033), ready for the 1307 from there.

There are catering crews in both portions. There is specifically a Senior Host in the front portion - they have slightly upgraded duties in that they’re the point of contact if needed, as the TM is always in the rear unit. Realistically, normally the crew will be in the process of packing away...
