1E06 terminated at Stevenage. 1S19 started there. The reason 1S19 was late North was awaiting the TM, who booked on and travelled to Stevenage on 1N85 (which was held at King's Cross to enable them to join). No other option for 1E06 unfortunately.

On my trip a couple of weeks ago, the Lecce trains were units, the other two loco hauled, as per the above. The Trenitalia site suggests new units taking over the other two services from 5 / 6 July (based on the seat selector, the only loco hauled on 5 July would be 0830 from Taranto)

The eventual plan appears to be the Metro extending to Adrano, with the railway remaining from Adrano to Ripsto, via Randazzo.
