13/01; 91119 wasn't out on that day.
15/01; 3A10 (91119+set) got as far as Leeds, failed witn a DVT issue, and went back to Neville Hill.
1A10 was therefore cancelled, Skipton - Leeds
91101+set then came off NL instead, and started 1A10 at Leeds.
16/01; Similar scenario except a) 3A10 got as...
Yesterday the yellow line had 6 pairs of old sets in traffic (based on my oberservations beteeen 1145 & 1545) - diagrams 121, 122, 125, 127, 129 & 130.
You can buy on the day, but also I suppose they can sell out.
I vaguely recall a coach set aside for those without reservations, but can't recall if that was for people using (the equivalent of!) an Oyster card, I can't remember what the Melbourne version is called!
I seem to recall that if...
I'm not sure whether remaining on the train (rather than undertaking an off-train experience) would have been permitted or not, in that instance.
In some of them (e.g disembarking at Marla on the Indian Pacific), remaining on board is definitely permitted.
In others (e.g the dwell at Adelaide...

In my case, both trips ran as scheduled, with the exception that one of the advertised off-train excursions on the Ghan was described as 'no longer available' on the day...
I was once offered a Bournemouth to Keighley taxi, after delays around Bournemouth meant I'd no chance of getting home.
I turned that down in favour of the train into London.
Once in London I was offered a Waterloo to Keighley taxi....
I turned *that* down in favour of the 2333 Kings Cross to...
The service involved was 1Y90.
There are good reasons why the line has been blocked (albeit I won't go into specifics here, but some of the gist of it is within some of the posts so far in this thread).
A post today on the RDC Deutschland Facebook page states this Sunday (2 November) will be the last ever planned use of through traffic to Dagebull, off the DB service to Westerland, with the DMU hauling the IC coaches and a 4-wheeled wagon.
The post from 'AMD' is correct, with the exception that the unit involved (from 1E13 today) will be running south ECS tomorrow.
1E13 tomorrow will start at Perth, using a unit which will run ECS from Craigentinny (the unit working 1W16 today)
