Aren't the announcements the same as on the old trains... not noticed them being excessive.
My commutes of late have been fine, any issues on the trains have been dealt with without the need to cancel and time has definitely been made up.. Agreed seats are hard but hardly a travesty. All...
Hard to see any arguments for either, it's clear yellow fronts aren't safer, otherwise they would all be yellow, the majority of this is personal taste and trying to find "railway" reasons for this in my opinion
There does appear to be a shift change, my train has been on time all week, temperature was comfortable and the passenger information system worked perfectly. I heard the male voice inside and out so obviously been updated. Maybe they are getting their act together.. time will tell
By the customer do you mean Merseytravel, they chose Stadler not Merseyrail. Merseyrail is the operator. So are you saying the problem is Merseytravel then?
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Merseyrail do not maintain or build these trains. This is all on Stadler yet Merseyrail get lambasted from every angle by the press and passengers alike. Reliability issues should sit firmly with Stadler and they should be held responsible but its not...
"Please stand clear of the doors". What's wrong with that? nothing worse than having to fight your way through numpties hovering around doors when there is loads of room in the trains
I suppose my anger took over so accepted and I take that back, I just wish we heard the truth instead of glossing over it. On another note, to be fair to a guard today who did speak highly of the new trains, she was up and down the train when we were stuck earlier today, however she didn't know why.
There is a listen again on the Radio Merseyside page on BBC sounds of the latest Mayor phone in session. Make of it what you will but the man still manages to pat himself on the back in all this mess.
People of Liverpool, do not vote these corrupt Councillors back in. There is life outside of...
The Mayor is safe, the labour council is safe, he knows it hence why he can slope the blame on everyone but himself. Stadler will get their money for trains delivered, the people who will suffer are the commuters. This whole roll out has been an utter disgrace yet the very people responsible can...
Well the petition should be aimed at Stadler and the no photo opportunity or blame to land elsewhere so I'll stay quiet Mayor. These trains have been forced upon Merseyrail. They wouldn't cancel them for the sake of it.
And I wonder who brought Stadler in. I certainly don't think that was Merseyrails idea. This whole mess is down to Rotherham, he's there for is photos and votes then disappears when questions need answers. Anyone seen his yellow buses anywhere??
To say this sits with Merseyrail is very reason...
I think you will find its the incompetent leaders of this city calling the shots on the 777s not Merseyrail. Mr untouchable Rotherham is nowhere to be seen. Probably sitting on ebay looking for his next vanity project.
How can you not blame Stadler. They built the trains and they fix the trains.. The 508 are life expired. No overhaul can change that. This is another Rotherham pipe dream that has failed, his buses are the same and we are the ones suffering. Financially too.
when it was going well yes, it hits the fan and they all go quiet (or point the finger at everyone else Mr Mayor). Trains fail yes, what I don't understand is they appear to be constantly failing with the same issues. Is it the hope they will just magically fix themselves. I would love just once...
Saying politicians need to step in...It's because of idiot politicians that we are in this mess in the first place. Merseyrail have been lumbered with units not fit for service because of a politicians ego trip. The issues here sit firmly with Merseytravel and fat controller Rotherham.
