Looking through the past few weeks of posts on the 507's thread it looks like neither of those have been a 507 for a while so they'll likely be 777s.

I saw 777051 in service at Chester this morning, When did this start?
At Sandhills this afternoon 777039 went through non stop on test.

Not yet. 777053 is still at Long Marston. 777033/35/47 are the last to be delivered into the UK. Unsure of whether they are at Warrington or moved to Kirkhale yet.

97-98% of Merseyrail workings are booked 777s now.

It will be great to have that at 100% in the future as they are great trains.
Latest delivery of 033 and 047 to WOJn MSC Sidings today. Leaving just one let to be delivered to the UK.

That's a matter of opinion!
They have had a ropey introduction, however as a regular user they seem to be settling down, I among other regular users have had disruption to travel on more than a few occasions, may I ask, how many journeys have you made on them?

Not many I bet. I have nade over a 100 now including 8 yesterday and they are superb.

Been on atleast 50 journeys if my notes are correct & I've only ever been kicked off one very early on, had a couple of 20ish minute delays, but personally I've not really had any major issues

Kicked off 777025 at Birkenhead Central due to a train fault. No idea what the problem is.

16 to be exact (not that I'm counting lol). Pretty awful in my experience when is mostly longer trips southport / Chester to Lpool.

I've endured no more than twenty journeys on them, plus a few more one-station hops, and in that time three have let me down. Two of those were on the first train of the morning, one of which almost kyboshed my travel plans completely. Three out of twenty is a pitiful record; you just cannot rely on them so I continue to avoid them like the plague. I can't have had more than five 507/8 failures in over twenty years of extremely regular use.
Added to the reliability crisis, the travesty of the seating, the awful suspension and the noise pollution of grossly excessive announcements is the seemingly non-existent air conditioning. Every one I have had in the last two months has been unbearably hot aboard and the lack of natural airflow is then deeply felt. I remember people on here complaining about the 507/8s' perceived lack of ventilation; well, it's nothing compared with the 'treble 7s'. 'Superb' my elbow.

Aren't the announcements the same as on the old trains... not noticed them being excessive.
My commutes of late have been fine, any issues on the trains have been dealt with without the need to cancel and time has definitely been made up.. Agreed seats are hard but hardly a travesty. All opinions are different but we are stuck with these. The maximum journey is just over an hour, I'd say some of the moaning is excessive and I have been guilty at first. I also think some of the moaning comes from a place of enthusiasts love of the old trains and the not willing to accept them no matter what..
Let's remember too, only a 15 minute wait for the next one.. Don't get that on Northern.
