    Merseyrail Class 777 introduction updates

So reported software issues are as a result of passengers?, same software same trains.

    Merseyrail Class 777 introduction updates

What constitutes "fault free". Certainly not "fault free" now. This is tax payers money being spent. As I said before if there is a photo to be had Rotherham is there, when his master plan falls apart he is nowhereto be seen. Tax payers are being kept in the dark and are left with a sub...

    Merseyrail Class 777 introduction updates

Its clear something is wrong, it's also clear we will never know the truth of what, it was all smiles and look at my trains from the Mayor and his cronies but when it hits the fan they scarper back into their holes.

    Merseyrail Class 777 introduction updates

Merseytravel chose the livery not Merseyrail or if the screens on the train are to be believed the people of the city region chose the livery, they were after all "designed by you"

    Merseyrail Class 777 introduction updates

Given this week's shambles I'd say yes

    Merseyrail Class 777 introduction updates

Heated shoes won't stop ice forming though, the trains will still encounter these issues unless the rails are treated

    Merseyrail Class 777 introduction updates

Network Rail treat the tracks, question has to be why this isn't working. Merseyrail wouldn't cancel services if they could avoid it

    Merseyrail Class 777 introduction updates

I wonder how much more the drivers have received to help with the democratic vote. In my opinion its been cash first before anything, and all this blumf about DOO has just been a tool to line their pockets.

    Merseyrail Class 777 introduction updates

I've read alot of comments on here that are utterly wrong. Merseyrail do not own the 777s, they also don't own the current trains so decisions to withdraw them are not entirely theirs.. Merseytravel/local combined authority are the owners of the new trains so the design and livery is pretty...

    View forward and old DMU

The new Merseyrail units do have a window into the drivers cab, like others have said though, I cant see drivers wanting people looking in, a rather pointless expense really

    Merseyrail Class 777 introduction updates

They are Stadler units being delivered to a Stadler depot, units aren't accepted by Merseytravel until Stadler are ready to hand them over I would presume

    Merseyrail 507's/508's

It's out of miles, requires a full exam and overhaul to go back in service however this won't be done..it will be the first train to leave the fleet in a few weeks

    Certainly not a ghost station

    Northern Class 195: Construction/Introduction Updates

Spent a couple of days commuting to Manchester from Liverpool South parkway, yesterday a 2 coach 195 showed up, I think it got to the point where standing room only was an understatement, it was heaving, the guard sounded as though he had had enough to th point where he was asking people to get...

    Halton Curve upgrade is on

As someone who has the misfortune to have to use the Mersey Tunnel every day, I can tell you that the queues are usually as a result of the out dated, antiquated toll system we are forced to use, The fast tag lane Merseytravel decided to bring in actually makes the situation worse as there is no...

Multinational bidder list for Merseyrail stock

Probably a stupid question but, with the different manufacturers bidding to build the trains, how will they look. Do Merseyrail get a basic carriage then have an input into the exterior design or will each manufacturer come back with their own ideas, or put another way - will the trains look...

    Merseyrail Train Guards

Has anybody heard anything yet - Merseyrail don't like to tell you much

    Merseyrail reveals refub interiors

I think Merseyrail clearly are nowhere near announcing the fleet replacement to spend this much money (ok small amounts in the grand scheme of things but still significant). The trains we have are brilliant for their age, we do have a system for all it's failings that is extremely reliable...

    Merseyrail new stock

Cladding hasn't done anything to make Lime st subway anything more than a grey drab tunnel. Had more character before they messed with it and strangely seemed cleaner. It was a waste of money that won't stand the test of time in my opinion.

    Merseyrail new stock

Does anybody know what has happened to the internal refresh the trains where due to have. The new livery is progressing (still not keen on the grey side) but nothing else has been mentioned.
