The new Merseyrail units do have a window into the drivers cab, like others have said though, I cant see drivers wanting people looking in, a rather pointless expense really

They are Stadler units being delivered to a Stadler depot, units aren't accepted by Merseytravel until Stadler are ready to hand them over I would presume

It's out of miles, requires a full exam and overhaul to go back in service however this won't be done..it will be the first train to leave the fleet in a few weeks

I think Merseyrail clearly are nowhere near announcing the fleet replacement to spend this much money (ok small amounts in the grand scheme of things but still significant). The trains we have are brilliant for their age, we do have a system for all it's failings that is extremely reliable...

Cladding hasn't done anything to make Lime st subway anything more than a grey drab tunnel. Had more character before they messed with it and strangely seemed cleaner. It was a waste of money that won't stand the test of time in my opinion.

Does anybody know what has happened to the internal refresh the trains where due to have. The new livery is progressing (still not keen on the grey side) but nothing else has been mentioned.
