Hi
I have a Off Peak Return for tomorrow between Darlington and Manchester Stations and am wondering if via Sheffield would be a valid route?
The only reason I ask is the blockade at Huddersfield and the connection it has given me at Leeds is very tight (<10 minutes).
Thanks in advance
Just came across a post on Facebook from the railway with the following advert attached:
Seems that the Tanet Valley Railway are selling off three class 143s and spares for "offers above scrap value".

According to the Liverpool Echo the Liverpool City Region is to get Glider bus services akin to Belfast's.

The services are planned to run on the Liverpool...

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. My postcode is set correctly in the settings and...

When the Central Trains franchise was split into a number of different operators (London Midland, East Midlands Trains, CrossCountry and to a degree Arriva Trains Wales), why were the Liverpool - Norwich services given to East Midlands Trains and the Birmingham - Standsted Airport and Birmingam...
So I went to purchase a ticket today from a Northern ticket office using my Iárnród Éireann FIP card which clearly states there's a 75% reduction on fares in GB, yet the ticket office said this is not correct anymore and would only offer the FIP 50% discount and even though its a First Class FIP...
Is there a list of all trains set to depart a specific station (ie, NCL) on each day of the week showing platforms, calling pattern and operator? Thanks in advance.
I have heard that the new Coventry Very Light Rail has been awarded to Rail Adventure to operate the short trial run in the city.
According to Coventry City Council the service will operate in May and June of this year.

At Sunderland station today I was having a look at the Northern massive ticket machines (same as the ones Translink have installed by the look of it but with very different software), and noticed a Promise to Pay option where it would issue a ticket voucher for nothing and then you pay the guard...
