    12 cars not more than 12 cabs. ie class 156's can be up to 6 2car sets but 153's can only be 6 cars as the are 2 cabs per vehicle. Ofcause platform lengths and loops can mean this is lower but taking out of the equation any inferstructure related issues, it 12 cars not mor than 12 cabs.

    Yes. Well they will be tested between tyseley and stratford upon avon. The paths have been there since feb 17th. From about 8 till 18. The will also be fast running down to leamington.     Just heard on the graph vine that the second 172 turbostar should be arriving at tyseley tomorrow. I believe it to be 172332 but I can't confirm. I also can't get on to trust to gain times.     I find Claverdon and Bearley quite funny. They are n the line from Hatton to Stratford Upon Avon and are managed by London Midland. Yet LM only have one train a day which is an early morning service from Birmingham Snow Hill to Stratford Upon Avon weekdays only and treat them as request stops...

    On the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railways website it has advertised a DMU or Railcar service to operate between Laverton and Hailes Abbey during 2011. Does anyone have any idea what this will be and where it will come from? Cheers.

    Multiple liveries on one train

    I remember about 10 years ago having a 153 in the blue regional livery with central trains on the side running around with 1/2 a centro liveried 150 to make a 2 car set.
