    172217 was the spare at Snow Hill yesterday. The 172/3 had an issue so it had to be swapped. Better the 2 car than no train at all!

    150/0 hybrids back to 2 car units.

    Short answer NO. Long answer. You would have to fit New cabs and vestibules with power doors. You could say that the 150/1 with gangway connections is a 150/2.

    172339 now safely put to bed at leamington ready for the 05.58 empties to Stratford. 172338 been and gone on its trip to Dorridge then Worcester before returning to Leamington for 23.45 tonight.

    Yes 2 stabled at leamington. One for 05.47 to Snow Hill (172345 tomorrow) and one for ECS to Stratford at 05.58 for 06.29 to Snow Hill. (172340 tomorrow) 7 units out today 5 three cars and 2 two cars.

    Sadly not the case. Only Chiltern sign the Bay Platforms 3 and 4 as well as the sidings. Chiltern would of conducted it in there.

    Favourite preserved line?

    Llangollen Railway and Severn Valley. Gloucestershire and Warwickshire has to be my top big railway though. Do however have a real soft spot for the Chinior and Princess Risborough Railway. Feel it would be a perfect prototype for a model.

    The was a 172 to Dorridge with customers yesterday I was told. 07.19 from Birmingham Snow Hill to Dorridge and that makes the 07.56 back. (this diagram leads into the 08.55 from Stourbridge to Stratford) :D

    172212 delivered 14/09/11 172215 now completed its running in and checks meaning 3 2car sets available for service. Also 3 172's in service today and a 3 expected tomorrow.

    London midland 150's - reallocations

    Believe 150202 and 150106 are next to go. 172's entry service on 5/09/11 with first working to go over 06.46 from Whitlocks End into Birmingham and 06.41 from Birmingham Snow Hill to Sratford upon Avon.
