I have to big up CrossCountry, who provided me with detailed feedback when I got down to the final three for one position around 18 months ago. I took the advice forward, nailed my next interview and got my current job. As mentioned above, most don't bother replying.

A Train Manager has direct authority over catering crews etc. A Senior Conductor doesn't.

You're not screwed. You can ride mopeds on provisional licences, there's always a push bike, a lift with a colleague, or simply passing your test. If you live within the distance, apply, and worry about it when you get the interview.

Jiggy, The interview is nothing to do with juiciness. Your examples have to be true and have to show - for the emergency question at least - that you remain calm and make logical decisions under pressure.

I agree completely. They can teach you and train you on the knowledge side of it. Dealing with angry/upset/drunk passengers is something which some people just can't do. Show them that and they'll teach you the rest.
