    Cut fuel tax

Wrong. The car doesn't go the long way round, so the car's round trip is about 8 to 10 miles along fairly quiet country lanes, so the average speed is more 40mph. And, mum says it's more 10 minutes than 5 but call it 8.

    Cut fuel tax

I can't drive (not old enough) but still, a 90 minutes bus trip is about 5 minutes in the car to school, so i'm in favour of the car. Last year I clocked up about 3000 miles on the bus(es) but in the car that would be about 2000 because the bus goes the long way round, and I hav 2 get 2 or 3...

    Phone taken

Our school rule is 'if a teacher can see it, it gets taken off you'. I had a phone which was so sensitive it kept turning itself on in my pocket, and wen the keypad was locked it just kept dialling 999. It was rather annoying that happening in lessons which is why I got a new phone.

School admins getting onto user Hotmail?

Browsing round my documents in my school profile the other day, we're not allowed to access the free demo photos that come with Windows XP 'for security reasons'. And my music coursework got deleted, and guess who's got to take the blame for that :-x

School admins getting onto user Hotmail?

Our school has banned Hotmail plus almost the entire internet, even parts of BBC Bitewise are banned  Teachers who confiscate phones/food do tend to read your texts/eat your food which is surely not allowed, and could be seen as theft and not confiscation in some cases?

New Generations of iPod Nano and iPods

I don't own an ipod and never will, over £100 is far too much money for a thin bit of plastic, and then i've got better things to spend my money on.

    Your Bottom Ten

Our local service meets most peoples needs, tourists, commuters, ramblers, shoppers, school kids, OAP's and so on, so the loadings are obviously very high and with only 40 seats and 12 standing, its a simple of matter of try and get on first. I would give up my seat for someone who clearly...

    Sprinter vs Turbostar

There are 150s working the Liverpool-Manchester Airport expresses (:o), so in that case i'd rather wait for a 170, but the again, if a 158 or 156 turned up, i'd rather catch that, so its sprinter for me. :)

    stations with Barriers

When I had a pass, I could easily get throught the barriers at Lime Street, take photos and get back through again! Before that I used to buy a return ticket one stop out. Of course at one time I used to carry a printed off version of the guidlines from the Network Rail site :-)
