Nowt wrong with Luton?! It's a hole and a half. Does have half-decent shops but 90% of the people there are undesirable shall I say. Go to the Arndale on a Saturday afternoon .

Both my parents work for them and I haven't got a good word to say about First because of the stresses they always come home in. It may look fine and dandy to some people but when it affects your family as well, well I'm sure you can imagine.

The Mall, Arndale as it's now called is a nightmare any day of the week not just Saturday afternoon. Public transport in the town (mainly buses here) is awful, there is nothing for teenagers to do whatsoever, I don't feel safe here and never have done....I could go on all day about how Luton got its cr*p town status if I wanted to.

People slag First off MOST OF THE TIME for bloody good reasons, are you saying I shouldn't slag first off for this episode

158815 had an intermitent fault with the doors after Filton Tuesday night whilst working the 1654 to Cardiff, the driver requested a unit swap at tha point, 90 mins away from returning to Bristol. Guess what happened at Bristol. "You want a unit swap do you?" ask's the DM!

That is not what I refer to. It is the people who don't frequently travel on FGW and anything is bad and their fault and there is no question about it. Its not like FGW have a decent job. Paying the DaFT a stupid amount of money, knackered old stock, not enough capacity awful infrastructure, loss making branches...

...its not as easy as ABC and some people overlook that in order to have a dig. I'll grant you the permission to slag Swindon off though, they are positivly AWFUL

I'm more irritating than chavs 8) :roll:

It's reassuring to know that banning chavs from stations and public enclosed places could be the next target for this crazy society that seems to want to outlaw or sanitise all pleasurable pursuits.

BTW, how many police and medical people are required on the avergae Friday / Saturday night to deal with the effects of alcohol - this too is a hazardous and addictive substance causing immense damage to society. I would suggest it's consumption should be banned immediately to prevent drinkers from harming themselves or others.

Passengers can stand throughout their journey, risking life and limb (sic) but should not get out of their seat when approching the stop at which they are to alight.....bring back open platforms and conductors to help speed buses along (where appropriate).

I like it on some, where it says 'please ensure children remain seated when the bus is in motion'. Excelent, no need to give up my seat to the minority of rude over 60's!
