    Happy Birthday 777fred!!

13th Birthday is when parents tend to annoy you with teenager jokes, well, thats what I got anyway! Anyway, start making the most of half fares and start carrying proof of age, but then i don't bother carrying proof and just pay full fare, cuts out the fuss!

    Bus SPAD procedure?

Generally if you don't want to pay such a high fare, don't use Arriva, and be careful with Stagecoach and First Group. Indepedant operators are obviously much cheaper than those 3 but its not always the case as i found t'other day :-)

    Train Simulator 2

Looks good but I wouldn't buy it. KRS in my opinion is the superior sim for many good reasons, including the fact it has British routes, stock, signalling etc.

    Laptops

Both of my computers are Dell's and they work fine if they're not overloaded (which one of them is). The only thing that seems to kill a Dell is MSTS

    No ordinary trip to school

Bus companies tend to put their worst drivers on schools in the hope they don't get noticed! Another interesting 'school day'! I usually get the train for the first leg of my journey to school. But this particular day there was snow and ice everywhere, and the trains were all cancelled...

    Laptops

Macs (or Macintosh if your that posh ) are designed to be compatable with Windows XP without all that added fuss of virus protection, poor reliabilty and so for those who haven't seen the Mitchell and Webb adverts! If I had the money i'd certainly get a Mac!

    Laptops

Oh yer, get a Mac! Schools and some business' now use Macs instead of that cheap stuff the builder leaves behind, mainly because they're faster and more reliable. However i doubt a Mac is in your price range.

    Buy It From Ebay!

If it had come off a 47 or a similar aged loco it would probably be worth the amount its going for, but paying that sort of money for something of a lump of 'Virginity Cramming Plastic' is a bit to much i'd say!

    No ordinary trip to school

Lol now I have someone who knows what i've been going through! With the amount of close encounters with death i've had, no wonder i'm a shivering nervous wreck  Ah well, life's life!

    No ordinary trip to school

When I went to school on my bike once (a journey of 5 miles), I was cycling down a country lane when one of my wheels almost came off and jammed the rear wheel in the frame of the bike, so obviously I had to make an emergency stop, right in front of a 4x4, so the school let me go home then...

Yer lol! Mind you, put it this way, if you had been in a car crash on your way to work, would you still turn up at the office? :-|

    No ordinary trip to school

From a while back this one but here I go! Not rail related but certainly interesting! Well okay, the train's early departure got me in this mess! I missed the last bus that got me to school on time so I waited for 09:05 Arriva 421 service. It came in about 5 or 10 minutes late, but when it...
