    Re-opening Colne to Skipton

I do think Colne - Skipton is too similar a route to Copy Pit to be honest.

Why is the Circle line so slow in the evenings?

To get from Paddington to Liverpool Street I normally take the Bakerloo to Baker Street and change there. From there if a Metropolitan Line train is due from platform 3 then that is my preferred option as they are often nearly empty!

    Stations not near their names

The old ramp from the Pallasades took you pretty close to New Street, but it was never the main entrance admittedly.

Disruption on Sunday/Monday if England win

I suspect if we win it you will be on your own at 6am Monday. COME ON ENGLAND!

Buying house near track - Crofton Park station

Looking at Howson Road I would expect the Brockley line to produce noise as the trains are frequent there with many fast through trains. I would make sure you check it out on a weekday.

Are the users of "Intercity" TOCs primarily long distance travelers or commuters?

Maybe allow set down at reading on the fast Oxford and slow Bristol trains and make reading pick up only for all the other high speed swrvices.

Trivia — Shortest Routes Between Stations of the Same Name (For Example: Catford to Catford Bridge)

Would Warlingham -> Purley -> Clapham J -> Pouparts/Longhedge - Brixton - Herne Hill - Tulse Hill - Crystal Palace - Norwood Junction - East Croydon - Purley - Upper Warlingham be possible? Or the alternative is a trip through London Bridge, Thameslink tunnel, Cricklewood, South Acton, Kew...

Trivia — Shortest Routes Between Stations of the Same Name (For Example: Catford to Catford Bridge)

I guess willesden - acton canal wharf junction - acton wells jn - acton west junction - west ealing - greenford south junction - greenford west junction - high wycombe - banbury - leamington - moor street is slightly fewer miles! (but still a long trip)

Charged £0.00 for Southern keyGo journey Balham to West Croydon!

Probably something to do with west croydon being a tfl station - however it should work according to the keygo map.

    Trivia - Extremely Late Running

Quite a lot of delays on long distance Amtrak, mind you they had quite a good day in Chicago today, the SouthWest Chief was a mere 90 late and the California Zephyr was early!

    Avoiding the Tube if possible

If you have a smartphone you could download the Uber application, that will get you private hire cars at a lower cost than black cabs. Or Norwich - Stansted by train. Then National Express coach to Paddington. Note these are currently not running but may restart before your journey.

Trivia: Stations with the same name in other countries

Newton KS on the Southwest Chief! Newton in Glasgow.

    Avoiding the Tube if possible

Yes the met line from Liverpool street is nearly always empty at that point, so if going to Paddington I often take it and change at baker street for a short ride on the bakerloo to Paddington (which has also emptied out a bit by baker street)

Transpennine ECS movements Glasgow Central to Carstairs

That would be my guess, they want to keep the stock at Glasgow to run the 5pm Manchester train but do not want to block platform 1, the main avanti platform for 2 hours.

Rail track between New Beckenham and Beckenham Junction stations

To be honest most would take the bus rather than 2 trains ...

Rail track between New Beckenham and Beckenham Junction stations

Most trains are diverted to Victoria on 2 and 3 April, but there is a half hourly service in each direction over the curve

London Victoria - how many trains per hour?

You are right, I meant Victoria - Gillingham not Gravesend! Actually it seems to be running back to Dover today off peak. Calling at Denmark Hill, Bromley South, St Mary Cray then every stop to Dover. A very slow ride and the only Victoria - Dover train offpeak.

London Victoria - how many trains per hour?

The current Gravesend via Denmark hill used to go to Dover. The other Dover was a portion of a Ramsgate if I remember correctly ?

Blackburn to Settle empty coaching stock movements

Once every 2 hours Man Vic - Bolton - Blackburn - Clitheroe - Hellifield - Skipton would be a useful addition to the network, although it may not be quicker than Skipton - Manchester via Leeds.

Without additional funding from government there is a real risk to the survival of Eurostar

I can't see there being no European rail service from London for long, even if Eurostar did go bust.
