    Slow stretch on the Metropolitan line

    Track geography is the main limitation for the MET, passing through 3 closed stations. Off peak scheduled 5¾min for both between Finchley Road and Baker Street. Both are CBTC/TBTC.

    Very accurate, with all lights off it is very disorienting as there is no source of light. Previous 1959/62, A, CO/CP, R Stock had just marker lights consisting of 60w bulbs.

    Stansted increasing again: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crm8mxp8187o The fee for vehicle drop-offs directly outside the terminal has increased to £28 for stays 15-30mins. Rates for vehicles stopping for under 15mins have also increased, by 40%, from £7 to £10.

    Prior to the 1960s rebuild, there was a footbridge spanning all platforms. Confiserie Francaise was at 7 The Mall, it’s (non-working) clock still remains above the current Paddy Power occupant. The new emergency exit footbridge comes out much further along The Mall at No. 21/22
