Coming back from BHX I went to Solihull station and spotted Jed to Ned baling out of the early evening Mainlne Class 67 service from Marylebone.
Just a bit greyer around the beard, but no entourage that I could see.
The RAF greatcoat now replaced by something black.
If there is anyone with a keen interest in road / rail plant and its operation, I may be able to provide them with some technical information should they so desire.
Please PM me for details if you are interested.

Can anyone suggest the best split ticket options for the above journey, please ?

Hello chaps.
Spurred on by The Wanderer's photos, and missing the delights of 071s, OT decided to make a quick trip to Ireland to chase up some 071 freight working action.
Sadly this seems to have corresponded with some very poor weather indeed, but here are a couple of offerings for those...

The full accident report...

OK, so I am back in the UK for a short period.
Has anyone else noticed a pre-dominance of short, fat, raincoat and headscarf wearing old Eastern European women selling the "Big Issue".
I have been in several towns and areas, and more I more I see these women, and frankly I am convinced...
Following on from the various topics that have discussed the proposed "cuts", it is not surprising that no-one from the Labour side of the argument has seen fit to reveal the following information that has come to light.
The deficit recovery plan proposed by Alistair Darling would impose cuts...
I am sure that the many Guardian readers on here will be aware of the campaign of vilification run by the Guardian against Companies, such as Barclay's who use tax efficient methods of avoiding the payment of UK tax.
The Guardian has also been very critical of Companies which have used Hedge...
It is with very great regret that I have to advise that news has reached me about the sudden death of Christine Dunn, formerly of Saltley and the Birmingham Division, in the early hours of Monday morning.

I cannot find the post again.
In answer to the query.
