For anyone interested, this weekend and for the next two weekends, the Stour Valley line is under weekend Possession Sat night to 0500 Mon as a result of track renewals works at Smethwick and Monument Lane.

All trains running between New St and Wolves are diverted as follows :-

Depart south end from New St, thence via
Proof House
Vauxhall Jct
Aston South Jct
Aston North Jct
Perry Barr South Jct
Perry Barr North Jct
Bescot Jct
Pleck Jct
Portobello Jct
Heath Town
Wolverhampton Crane St

Route is reverse on the Up

OT, not to question your post, but the logic of it, should Pleck Jcn read as Darlaston Jcn, with the trains running straight through from Bescot to Wolves, or are they actually reversing at/near Pleck?

Last time I got pleck in I was on 170512 on a diverted x100 Bhm-Shrewsbury run whick took 75 mins from new st to wolves!
