I don’t understand why there are no trains on the Buxton or Hope Valley lines. Northern have neglected these lines and some others for days. Even on the non-strike days there was nothing. They seem to be back today though

Regardless of the WTT, I still would have expected a smallish gap between arrival and departure and not relying on the fact the train should arrive a few mins early. No time for a comfort break even if it arrived at 2024

In the past (unsure of this year), the last train to Mallaig arriving 23:30 Xmas eve always ran. That could have been the last train running on the network that day.

I’m not sure why the TfW announcements have to say “we will be calling at the following principle stations”. The word principle is not needed. It is said whether the train stops at all stops or it doesn’t. Not every station can be principle if the calling patterns change
