It would be a shame as they are a cracking ride. Much more comfortable than the 318's and 320's and perfectly suited to the Glasgow metro routes they operate - there's loads of room for standing inside when they get busy!
I would hazard a guess at about 3/4 of the fleet being saltired currently. There's still the First ScotRail and SPT carmine and cream liveries in a few sets yet.
Noticed a 380 today with the "ScotRail is operated by First" stickers removed from the doors. The simplicity of the debranding is genius, they should copy this model elsewhere in the UK.
It will be interesting to see when they start removing the "ScotRail is operated by First" stickers on the Saltired stock if they remove cleanly or take some of the paintwork below off with them!

^^ Company to be run under "Virgin Trains East Coast" brand.
As no contact has been signed it's looking more and more likely that National Express are challenging the award to Abellio. I would be really disappointed if NE managed to tear the contract award away from Abellio, I think the bid looks fantastic and I'm looking forward to seeing it put in...
How do you know the contract hasn't been signed yet? I don't know how these things usually work, is it usual to have a public signing of the contract after the 10 day challenge period?
Varies between 6 and 3 car EMU's, you do the maths! 318/320/334's all operate this line. My local station, Partick has a train roughly every 4 minutes peak. And that's just one Glasgow station, never mind the lines that go elsewhere all over the city.
