Me neither. I welcome the innovation and the aspiration, but they have been fairly lamentable for an extended period. They are very much a bargain basement operation (without the bargain basement prices).
Quite a few people have opined that "Nightjet are just as bad". That's no defence at all...
The issue here - like with all stolen goods - is that, if there is a market for it, then people will steal. So the best solution would best seem to be to go after the receivers of stolen goods. People won't steal when there's nowhere to sell it.
I've long since given up complaining to TOCs about issues like this. They will justify it, even if it is completely unreasonable from a passenger perspective. Long gone are the days where a TOC will do anything other than (equivocally) "apologise for the inconvience caused"
There has to be a scapegoat - preferably not senior management.
Was this the accident that was caused in part by glare on one of the signals making it impossible to read ?
I suspect that the Daily Express are desperate to hang this on the public sector in general, Keir Starmer in particular, and "lazy, overpaid" railways staff. They will inevitably be seeking the Transport Minister's head on a platter and an immediate general election.

I believe the toilets issue dates from when they were ordered by Virgin and the latter were too tight to order the correct machinery to empty the waste tanks, and it's not been substantively addressed since then.
It's a bit like Tripadvisor reviews for hotels - you need to sort the wheat from the chaff, and the people who complain about the lack of a chocolate on the pillow and rose petals on the sheets of hotel bed, versus consistent complaints at a location about noise, room cleaning and breakfast...
"They then said they would send the British Transport Police which was a bit frustrating to be honest because it shouldn't really matter where you are and what's happening, they should just send the nearest police car."
Then...nothing. I assume there wasn't an available BTP Car/Officer in the...
Does the bank account you can refill it need to be Dutch? Bizarrely, I do have a Euro-denominated Dutch bank account (Bunq) from the short period they offered these in the UK.
I wish I could say I was surprised, but I'm not. Every time I see someone talking about "efficient German railways", I counter "I take it you've not visited recently..."
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
