    Staff: the best & worst

Network Rail website says it, not so much of a 'law' but more of rules --- old post above --- --- new post below --- It will take more than one complaint to end trainspotters these days we are classed as ''extra eyes and ears'' and can help in security says Network Rail, they encourage...

What would you like to see preserved in 10 - 15 years?

Keep all the 60's 66's 67's 37's etc. and I think the railway should build more types of 37's and 67's for regular service rather than these really modern trains. Technology is too advanced for my likes and the future of rail transport should be the past trains newly build to modern standards...

    Dustbins on stations

If you go to Leeds station, and look behind a vending machine theres no gaps for bombs to be placed, they did have a bomb in Leeds a while back but they managed to defuse it if I remember correctly, Leeds has no bins whatsoever, either hand it to the cleaner or chuck it on the floor. And because...

but its true, you have to stand up for your rights these days, and I'm not letting staff abuse the law, when really there supposed to know it - unless they give a good reason which network rail says if they have a reason, just leave without hesitation - which I can totally respect

in the enthusiast laws which I've read several times does not say anything about photography been banned! so why the guy got moved I have no clue, usually similar costumed workers are at york most time theres steam, and they just tell you to stay within the line and they don't mind then. Huddersfield served 3.7 million passengers last year and Halifax been only 1.5 million. Huddersfield has trains every 15 mins to many locations such as liverpool, manchester, york, leeds, newcastle, middlesbrough, hull, durham, darlington, northallerton and I could go on, Halifax on the other...

ah yes you did, sorry i forgot about that. and yeah true it would take quite a bit of time, I suppose it could work on slower lines.

Would jump down and cross the tracks?

If a station didn't have an emergency button how would you actually stop the train? you could run up the line as fast as possible (not on it but at the side) and wave something to let the drivers know - Thats what they did in the railway children

Would jump down and cross the tracks?

The amount of time waiting for the barriers to go up takes the monkeys! The train was not even sight when I zoomed in 16x on my camera to see it but couldn't see it for ages, and if thats your connecting train then it's highly likely people will misuse it aswell. And castleford was crept in a...
