I believe they just moved the RLU board to the correct place (it's been moved south 7½m). No updates to track or units required. We had to keep stopping past the RLU board prior to this or do a FASDO overide, now we don't!
I was also there back in the summer and thought just the same. First time i've been on a steam train - thought I was in the 60's or something!
But the town was packed and is clearly becoming a fashionable place to live. I got a few friends who now live in the vicinity and commute in to...
Yes. There's certainly a 09.42hrs arrival that i've driven a few times and i've seen a couple more in service around then. They're also used later in the day too though not sure when off the top of my head.
Haha - did you read my message? Cricklewood's not been built yet, nobody knows.
However, shift wise I can help:

This is Monday to Saturday. Sundays are outside the working week and it's up to you if/when you...
Nobody knows. Cricklewood isn't open yet. Not even built. Neither are any of the new depots (Luton, St Albans, Horsham, Finsbury Park, Gillingham etc etc)
In fact I've had a mass of Gillingham drivers out with me and I'm still confused how they're going to do their training as there's no depot...
Agreed. As I understand it, once they're deleted they're gone. Forever.
I was wondering about the data context of phone use but then I suppose a phone could be downloading data whether being directly used or in a bag.
Ultimately there is no power to a phone being seized (by a TOC), all...
Nope. It'll be a door fault. The stopping point is exact in the core but not at other stations. This door fault does rear its head from time to time - did it happen at other stations round the loop?
Nor the case for my TOC. You hold your hands up and they do their best to help you and get you back out. They certainly don't go out to hammer staff for mistakes.
Mind you, we need all the drivers we can get!!
Most likely yes. Class 700's effectively run as two 6 cars (or 4 cars) bolted together. So if the rear pan was down then no traction power to the rear 4 coaches. I'm surprised it was really slow though - we've been told they can be run on one set of motors. Certainly driving a 319 under half...
But you can get the GB for free too! Sticky at top of Careers page on here.
To the OP: Save your money and don't waste it on this drivel - all the info you'll ever need is out there and free!!
As stated there engineering works going on. But there's also a "BBQ Sunday" today. I'm not sure what the specific beef is though as I seem to have missed that bit and don't work Sundays anyway.
I understood the case was always as stated above by IrishDave. Not getting wires up but getting everything lowered etc ready. I live between Blackhorse Road & Walthamstow Queens Rd and this bit hasn't seen much work for a while.
There are a few OLE cantilevers up but not much else going on...
The south east particularly has seen a chronic shortage of drivers for some time. it also has the most services and so the most staff.
It may be that notrhern TOCs have the same shortages but they don't need as many drivers and so recruit less often. Northern seem to recruit fairly regularly...

Cricklewood

Mill Hill Broadway

These have all seen 12 car services stop on the 8 car platforms.
Bedford Carriage Sidings (roads 1-14) are next to the mainline just south of the station.
Jowett Sidings (roads 15-19) are to the east of these and involve using the Up & Down Bletchley to access.
Cauldwell depot has 8 roads and is located south of the river. This is the maintenance depot.
