That's been there ever since they electricified the line back in 2019-2020. Occasionally the site is used as a depot for road/rail machinery but nowadays it's just a vacant compound with some steelwork.

Perhaps that would explain why there was orange earthing clamps on the slow line at Wymington this morning.

I have just posted a video of a Class 360 being moved from Cricklewood to Kettering over on the EMR 360 thread. A couple of pictures of it here too.

Quick video here showing the Class 360 running on the slow lines through Wymington, Bedfordshire. Looks like the middle train's pantograph was not raised.

I noticed this morning that one of the isolator towers on the slow line at Wymington appears to be open. Presumably that would suggest the line isn't powered up.

Had a wander up to the Irchester substation (in Wymington, North Bedfordshire) and noticed two of the isolators are now connected which presumably confirms the power is running up to Irchester as previously mentioned by others. The ground is too wet for me to wander to the isolators on the...

There was a notification of the power being switched on at the Irchester TSC (which is located in Wymington) when I went past it the others day. Sadly I could not make out the details from the picture I took (attached).

Hertford North to Hertford East whilst isn't a short walk, is quite a journey by train.

The fourth line between Wellingborough and Sharnbrook junction is no longer showing as out of use on Open Train Times. Will keep an eye out for any use of it.

If you mean the extra line between Kettering and Sharnbrook junction, no it is not. Was supposed to be used next Monday by this service but it has been changed today from using platform 4 at Wellingborough to now using platform 3.

Had a quick look at the lines near Wymington this evening. The over heads have these blue wires attached to them which I assume mean the power is not live. Separately I saw this strange structure on the fast line where the wires from each line go to some sort of isolation lever. Any ideas what...
