I used this service the other day there was only me at cleethorpes about 15 people by grimsby and by Market Rasen it was pretty full. I think if the service frequency was made hourly a lot of people would use it.
153's are fine for the barton line. I wouldn't mind the line be increased to an hourly frequency though as I beleive this would increase usage hugely espicially with the plans for a new wind turbine construction plant near New Holland and the bus from Grimsby to hull taking 1 hour 30 minutes.
What an idiot. I'm 17 and have never felt the need to lay down on a railway to fit in. I enjoy being an individual and living life the way I want to and not the way someone else wants me to. My message to him is get a life mate before your killed doing something this pathetic.
I'd like split the cross country route into cross country express and cross country local both running hourly on the core route, Edinburgh to Bristol. The fast service could be using a 225 when it was electrified and would call at Edinburgh,Newcastle, Durham, Darlington, York, Leeds, Wakefield...
Yeh it was AQA AS we did about the river lud near Louth and how it changes from it's source to mouth but we only did a mile of the river and our experiment completly failed so I had to tell a few white lies.
I spotted this in the exam. The question is meant 0.05 and actually says 0.5. I just assumed they made the mistake and answered it assuming the current in the deep side of the river the pool was meant to be the fastest current
I would probably run this service pattern if it was up to me
1tph to Birmingham from grimsby calling at habrough, barnetby, mkt rasen, lincoln, newark, Nottingham and then
the current xc service to brum
1tph to Sheffield calling at saxilby Gainsborough, Retford and worksop
The current...
I think Nottingham to Lincoln through journeys would be limited as it would be as slow as the current stopping service even if you ran Nottingham to Mansfield non stop. Tourist wise I think the line could be great as with all the new hotels in Lincoln people could stay in lincoln and travel on...
Not to sure on the progress of reopening the line but the track is intact to just past tuxford and the trackbed is intact to skellingthorpe were it could join the lincoln Gainsborough line. To me it a no brainer. It could be used for a Lincoln-Mansfield-Nottingham service and ollerton is next to...
