I thought moving away from the WACA to the new Perth stadium might change things a bit but not this much!
Close:
England 172 all out
Australia 123-9
England lead by 49 runs
19 wickets.
Absolute madness! There appears to be complete head loss on both sides. I know England have no batting brakes and a pretty pacey, er, pace attack but cant anyone just defend for a bit? The pitch cant be that bad surely?
Starc has got 7 for and is already batting! Bet he thought he could get...
unhappy is an under statement! Livid might be better.
I am only interested in the Bedford > Bletchley section. If they are going to close my station I hope they bulldoze half of Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire! ;-)
Strange week for Darlo:
FC United 3 v Darlo 2 Comedy own goal in the last minutes saw us dumped out of the FA trophy despite being in complete control at half time
Darlo 5 v Peterborough Sports 2 - Darlo in complete control (4-1) nearing half time when one of the floodlights went out, again...
This is why. I found this flyer on my doormat when I got home from work. (Sigh)
Reform have 2 linked issues: boats and forigns. If labour can sort out this issue or even be SEEN to sort it out they defang reform considerably.
I agree those that want to vote reform will. You MIGHT be able to...
They would have been quite young to have been chucking bananas! I have certainly never done anything like that and am upset if you think I would or that I would hang around with people who did.
I think we as lefties have to take a look at the world that exists not the world we want to exist...
Well, I have to say the recent announcements on immigrants have gone down very well with real people. I know fellow lefties will be hand wringing and conscience waving like mad but real people seem happy with them.
My football chat group ( people I go to the match with, all middle aged northern...
A question that came to mind while travelling on the WCML last night. I was in the Pendolino coach where the loud bang whenever you enter or leave a neutral section is very noticeable. At one we seemed to be travelling quite slowly and the gap between the two bangs was quite noticeably longer...
Lots of speed restrictions and delays on wcml services.
The rain i went through on route to Manchester was pretty impressive! Roads were looking flooded as we went past!
On the TPE now and the train is really struggling to pull away from the small stations between stalybridge and...
I thought the Faragists were all for free speech?
That also seems very "whatabouterysih"
that is lazy thinking. There is a difference between story selection decisions and editorial bias surely?
I am not selecting that story about baked beans for coverage because it is boring and you haven't...
I understand! I suspect it is more that they don't recognise the bias as it chimes with thier views. Afterall, how can I be biased.............
I agree that if there is bias it is towards the power in party. The charter doesn't renew itself!
agreed - but that is hard of you want the license...
completely anecdotal but recently I have found the 91 hauled trains to be quieter than the Azuma trains at all times of the day. It used to be the other way around imo.
Sunday is the exception - ALL trains are rammed!
People know what the Torygraph is and what it believes. The readers don't care. They buy it because it reinforces thier own opinion/prejudice. Same as any print media.
last time I checked the Daily Telegraph was part of the "media" as per the title of this thread! They are biased.
Almost...
Yet a week ago I was on the 1703 Kings Cross > Leeds ( as I am quite often) and it was far from full with 9 carriages. I expected it to be rammed. It was not.
My biggest concern is the Sunday services out of Leeds which can be VERY busy and the reductions in vehicles across other services on...
