Assuming you have a PAYG Adult Oyster if your railcard is paired to the card, your daily capping rate will be lower.

Tickets can be collected from any machine not just the one you specified when you ordered online, just get you partner to use your card with the booking reference and then post tickets Special Delivery to you or your daughter.

Just a thought, if you topped up your Oyster card, I assume it is PAYG card, have you logged on to your account and printed out your journey history.
