Basically if a 15 year old child is legitimately travelling on a Child ticket but the ticket checker doesn’t believe they’re only 15, what can and/or what should happen if they have no ID?
If a 15 year old is traveling on a Child ticket and a ticket check takes place, if the child looks older than 15, what's supposed to happen? Can they be reported for looking older than 15? What happens if they don't have proof with them?
As it's Henley Regatta week with the Henley special service, I was thinking. What would it take to upgrade the Henley branch to allow 2 trains per hour / service every 15 mins? What would that likely cost?
What would the OP actually need to ask a ticket office? Meaning exactly what would the ticket office staff need to input to find this fare and retail it?
Railcards on the Trip.com app are not easy to find when you need them in a rush - they're four clicks into the app. Also the quality of the English in their customer comms is not good. It makes me concerned that level of quality might be the same in their systems or procedures.
it would be so much better if digital railcards could be added to your Apple Wallet. If - for example - you buy your railcard from Trip.com then your railcard will be hidden away four clicks into the app and is really hard to find. Meanwhile your actual ticket can be easily saved in the Apple...
