Good afternoon. First time post here, and rather than start a new thread this one looked as good as any to 'scratch an itch' about a train fare which genuinely seems to be unavailable to purchase.
Bramley (West Yorkshire) - BLE - lies between New Pudsey and Leeds and in the week has about three services an hour travelling each way on the Calder Valley Line. I've trying to buy a return ticket from Bramley to Penistone which is on the Huddersfield to Sheffield Line. I can get a price for any station on that line up to Denby Dale, but not Penistone, Silkstone Common or Dodworth. The next station is Barnsley and I can get a ticket for that station, but via the Leeds > Barnsley route, not the Penistone Line.
To add to the confusion I CAN get a ticket from the station prior to mine (which I guess I would do if I had to as it's only three or four minutes down the line and unlikely to cost much, or even many more.), New Pudsey, which passes through Bramley, and stops as mentioned three times an hour on the way to Leeds and then directs me via Huddersfield or Barnsley, depending which gets there more quickly.
Apologies if this sounds confusing, but I've tried to cover all scenarios in the question to save any kind soul duplicating the effort.
I've tried it on BRfares bit no can do.
Any insider knowledge would be appreciated. Thank you.
