I prefer an aisle seat anyway, can stretch legs out more easily, and less inconvenient for using the buffet car or toilets.Intercity | Discover the very best of Britain by rail
Unmissable days out in First Class comfort on our modern air-conditioned InterCity train, hauled by celebrity diesel and electric locomotives.inter-city.co.uk
£174 for a window seat is a bit too steep for me.
That'd be the next 5 or 6 Saturday's worth of trains for me.
In that case, the £174 was for a window seat in the solo part of a 1+2, so it's both a window seat and an isle seat.I prefer an aisle seat anyway, can stretch legs out more easily, and less inconvenient for using the buffet car or toilets.
It certainly is 50050, having worked up from Eastleigh the other day on the 5Z47 with 57302.I assume that the 50 lurking in Southall shed at the London end of a rake of stock is 50050 and will end up leading the Southall to Horsham ECS tomorrow?
The Electric Boogaloo.According to faceache the SRPS tour to Inverness next week will now be 40013 instead of the 45. Not great, I suppose the thing is probably at least a half of the peeps who travel on SRPS tour don't live in Scotland so have to travel and get hotels etc so it's quite an investment in time and money just to get to the tour, dunno where this leaves them going forward it may put bookings off if they can't sort out the booked traction, it's always been the same I suppose but with money getting tight all round it will affect things
Also there's a new 86/87 tour going to London liv St and other Essex bits
might book that, not too much of a break though which is unfortunateThe Electric Boogaloo.
Go for it if you've got over £100+ to spend.might book that, not too much of a break though which is unfortunate
Probably will, all other intercity tours have been week days which don’t work for me so this is a good opportunityGo for it if you've got over £100+ to spend.
Sounds goodProbably will, all other intercity tours have been week days which don’t work for me so this is a good opportunity
