They're fitted, but are they actually working? So many Stagecoach buses that have had the NSA equipment installed in Northampton still don't actually work. They merely either display the date and time or the great message of "Bus Stopping at " when the bell is pressed.

In my local area which has 73 plate E400MMCs with NSAs half of them don’t have any announcements and one has nothing displayed but the time and company and bare in mind, this is a new repaint.

11731 SK23CSO has NSA on a screen but not any announcements
11732 YX73OXL has NSA on a screen and has announcements
11733 YX73OXM has NSA on a screen and has announcements
11734 YX73OXN has NSA on a screen and has announcements
11735 YX73OXP has no NSA on the screen and no announcements despite it being the MMC with a new repaint
11736 YX73OXR has NSA on a screen but no announcements.

All of these had announcements but then they lost lots of them and 11735 YX73OXP had them purposely taken out. The photo below is 11735 YX73OXP with its display.

some of ours here (grimsby) just say " Stop requested" when bell pressed and some announce , ironicly that 19531 has it lower deck NSA on the glass on the side seat

I noticed that some of the ones I've been on recently have clearly not been set up with the right routes, or not linked up to the ticket machine possibly.

Instead the only audible announcement you get is when someone presses a bell they say "Please stay in your seat until the bus has completely stopped."

27183 has been repainted out of the old beachball livery into the latest steel blue livery joining 27182

I have heard that Stagecoach have a new policy where the want 3.3% percent of their fleet to be in a pride livery based on the image I have seen. This would mean that for East Midlands that would be around 18/19 buses (based on the 567 buses that is listed on bustimes). I wonder what the first bus to receive the We've got you pride livery for East Midlands will be. I would expect Hull will have at least one by the end of July for Hull Pride.

Worth keeping in mind that of those 567:

Some are minibuses
A few are EVs not in service as of yet
Some are the open top "Seasiders" used in Grimsby and Skegness
A good few are training buses

I would estimate 1 bus from each respective depot will be repainted, and at major depots, maybe 2.

My opinion is, existing "Masterbrand" buses will be given the pride decals instead of repainting a bus entirely if they don't have enough time to do so.

Yes I would also expect the 3.3% to only be passenger operated vehicles and I did think the bustimes number is higher than actual service vehicles but thought it was still a good guide to how many vehicles would receive it. I would expect we won't see any full pride repaints now, with the livery being achieved with vinyls applied on top on of the we've got you livery either as buses get repainted or on existing buses that are already in we've got you.

Bus 11735 YX73OXP has just had a small accident with 19524 MX09KTF on the front and back with 11735 and the back with 19524. Accident happened between Laughton and Scotton. I was on 11735 when it happened. Both buses just drove away. Don’t know what will happen next.

This was a mistrack due to a incorrect allocation on a ticket machine.

It is - part of the Enviro 400 MMC contingent that transferred to Grimsby from Kilmarnock last Spring. MOT due in a week so would suspect it is for that

Some funny business going on with 11695

Its tracking just sat at Ferensway, however if one checks the Stagecoach app, the trip its meant to be doing as of writing is actually tracking and running.

Is this a broken tracker or bustimes not caught up yet? I dont know what could cause such a thing

Similar thing happens here in Gainsborough where 11735 YX73OXP won’t track for around 13 minutes and then will be normal for about 5 minutes before repeating the whole process again and again. At the end of the day it just disappears off of the tracker.
