Here's something interesting

Today, due to the Hull City celebrations in town, 0 single deck buses are out and all their duties are being done by double decks today (assumably, to increase capacity with today being Sunday service due to the bank holiday)

Odd as in Grimsby there's not many singles as some are doing the 250.

Also additional services this afternoon to get fans to and from the city centre

Happened to be passing the Hull University cottingham halls today at about 1915 or so and noticed a Stagecoach double decker right at the back with a destination set on the blind but was too far away to see

I dont suppose anybody can guess which one it was because it didn't seem to be doing much

Could be 11692? That had a 5 to Kingswood at 1920, could you remember what livery it was?

I saw it just down the road from the depot, not the best photo as it was a rush to take it

I also saw 19007 sat in the pits, and 19107 sat in the main depot, someone mentioned about 107 on here but cannot remember who

Theres a 200mmc and 1919X double deck bus and I guess that 19107 is there to probably to cover 16962 (Lolly).

Thank you. You did at least try!

As someone mainly interested in bus routes and timetables I find so much of the content of this thread meaningless to those who don’t know and understand all the jargon. A few months ago I kept reading about MAN‘s being transferred to Mansfield. I think they are now operating most of the services on my local route. I had no idea what they were and presumed they were buses which had been operating in Manchester!

To clarify what "MAN" means in this context:

It's a chassis of single deck bus which is quite rare to see around any city or town.

They got swapped late last year (2025) for more standard single decks Mansfield used to have, which were sent to Hull (the origin point of the MANs)

At Mansfield, they mainly work on 141 from what I've seen (no idea why) at the minute.

That's all I can really say about MANs without being too technical and more casual, but I'm happy to explain more if this isn't enough (unless I'm too late, and you already know what they are now).

Why hasn't 27645 been active in Grimsby since last Friday?

Thank you. That‘s quite a clear explanation and I wouldn’t want anything more technical. I think I have probably been on 2 of them today on the 141 route.

26177 YX67 UZA (Enviro 200 MMC allocated at Scunthorpe) seems to have had the front decal off and enlarged Stagecoach logo at the front.

Saw it last Sunday just without any front branding. It seems to be something that Stagecoach does like on 19564 it had an all blue headlights and the area below that but recently one bit changed to white.

I believe any E400s and MANs at Hull fitted with next stop announcements are staying after electrics arrive in Hull (from what i can see its the E400's on 09 plate and newer and the 24*** series Man E300s not seen any 22*** series fitted with them yet)

They're fitted, but are they actually working? So many Stagecoach buses that have had the NSA equipment installed in Northampton still don't actually work. They merely either display the date and time or the great message of "Bus Stopping at " when the bell is pressed.
