Hit the nail on the head. They have no chanceDo things they would do as a decoy. Praise Kirstie Allsopp, smash IPads, ban casual gaming and revive Mary Whitehouse. That sort of thing.
I've found an article.Oooo can I join to watch?

Copious amounts of laughter.
The party reference is about as relevant as Owen Jones, as was pointed out she had headphones on so your point being? If my kids were looking over someone else's iPad on a train, interfering with their privacy then they'd be suitably told off. My kids know better and would be otherwise engaged with their books or in fact my tablet with headphones as we do on many long distance journeys. I have three kids under five so I'm talking from experience.hmmm... so you move into a new property and start having parties with loud music until 3am every saturday... but that's ok it's nothing to do with anyone else as long as you are happy? ever heard of "reasonable enjoyment"? obviously the mother had concerns {very legitimate ones as it happens- else why do we have a ratings system in the first place?} ok, so she went about it the wrong way...
tbh no-one in this scenario came out looking good... all they have BOTH done is show the arrogant, inconsiderate "me me me" society we now live in
It was years ago. They also used other forums but mumsnet being mumsnet only mentioned here. Thankfully the member who did the deeds will spend at least 20 years in prison.Wow! I didn't know about this.
I know there is a lot of disgareement, infactual data and heated argument on these railforums, but never did I think that they were being used for such nefarious purposes. I'm shocked tbh.

Trouble is we are not one of those now.
What next she'll be demanding someone refrains from eating chocolate biscuits on the train because her children aren't allowed chocolate biscuits.
Everyone is on the autistic spectrum, believe me! I fear that some people don't know how to behave in public society and once they get away with it they really milk it. Remember I said some! If this report is true then this lady with the children had her own agenda and woe betide anyone crossing it.

I think you would struggle to to argue watching a TV show on the train as an outrage to public decency or inciting hatred. And I can assure you that BTP would not be remotely interested so the point is a bit moot.Isn't it a bit different displaying something in a public environment as opposed to watching it in your own home though. As we have heard with regard to the photography argument, you have no right to privacy in a public environment. If you play something that can be considered ' an affront to public decency ' or something that may ' incite hatred ' which can be observed by others in a public place - whether you want them to or not, would you not be open to some kind of charge related to the respective laws on 'public decency' or 'inciting hatred' ?

Isn't the dadsnet equivalent where they dress as Batman and gaffertape themselves to Bigben? ;pall this talk about mumsnet... is there a version called dadsnet? or are all the dads too busy bringing up their kids while the mums bitch and whine about trivial nonsense on the interweb?
So if I take my laptop / portable DVD player onto a train and proceed to watch "Dambusters"....? Or an episode of "Love Thy Neighbour"?
I find that whenever I watch something on the train it guarantees that there will be a sex scene in it. I usually skip through it out of embarrassment more than anything. Someone suggested Sense-8 to me a while back and that first episode is definitely not train safe.
Like others have pointed out Virgin have some pretty racy films available to anyone via Beam, and there's no law to say you can't watch this stuff in public. It could be classed as a 'public performance' so violating copyright, but unless the City of London police are on the train it's unlikely anyone would care about that aspect.
No, not everyone is on the autistic spectrum. What a peculiar thing to say.
no I think he's talking about the version that shows he has a classical educationIf it’s the version of Dambusters where they refer to the squadron’s pet dog by its historically accurate name, you might have a few problems.![]()
