Currently overdue at Dunbar with Berwick upon Tweed showing as Cancelled.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Looks like it is being restarted at Newcastle, presumably with a Vomit.

NRE quotes that the servoce is on time into Newcastle however Berwick was cancelled.
This was down to a broken down train

It is a vomit. I got a NNEC 1 minute later, now on a NT (158 and better than a vomit, loads of room too!) then a HST on emt. I should see the vomit again at derby, will report back to say, how busy it is.

And yes, it really is that much slower on XC!!

Not as bad as Virgin Voyager service being ran as Adelante in the old FGW timetable. Any idea on how long the HSTs will run on the Dundee services?

I think they will run from now on including the December TT change as the s/b Dundee-Plymouth is due to be a HST from Dec.

In my wildest dreams, until the ICP / IEP comes online on GW and ECML then their HSTs return to XC :)

IIRC, Dundee gets 1 or 2 HSTs a week in the near future, but that'll revert to Voyagers from December. The northbound PNZ-DEE service is definately an HST one day a week, and I think it's a Wednesday in preparation for the 0900 GLC-PNZ on the Thursday.

But tomorrow two sets are needed. The set which went south today will return north tomorrow. And the second set will go south and then form the 09:40 of Newquay on Saturday.

Is it too early to know which HST will be forming Saturday's Newquay service ex Manchester, with it being a NXEC set?

Just out of interest, what's the probability of it NOT being an MTU? (Roughly translated as: Is it worth me going on it sometime in June/July?)

Highly unlikely to be a pair although 1 of each is a good possibilty, depends what the late sets are out the cross to Leeds really and then whatever Neville Hill despatch on the ECS so you won't know until early Sat morning.

Think there is currently 1 pair out on GNER (and it's an unrefurb set for all you 'heritage coach bashers' :-?, 077/119...it helps having an office on the ECML!

Can we PLEASE have that set down here for Saturday...heart-of-wessex would be pleased as 077 is required for sight and I am rather keen to get that in the book with a line under it!

I know, I'm asking a lot, but I can pray...<D

Bring on tomorrow and 1137 at TVP. It's been a LONG time coming...<D<D<D
