The line itself is a branch off a main and I don't think there was ever a junction there unless it was just to some industrial location.

I just looked on "rail map online" and yes, there was an industrial connection there a long time ago.

It is Bugle in Cornwall on the Newquay branch. I can see that zooming out a bit would have made it much more obvious.

...and yes, if I'd zoomed out more it would have been a tad too obvious... and I think you can see now why it would have been difficult to give any clues that wouldn't give it away instantly!
