People who, at roundabouts, don’t signal at all until just before they exit – turning left, of course – at which point they briefly flick their right indicator on! Why? :x

Roundabouts annoy me. They work fine when they're used properly, but you must indicate where you're going and you must indicate off the roundabout as well; it ain't difficult.

There's one in our area where they don't indicate right. It's not a filter lane; you can go straight on or right, but they think they don't need to indicate. Always fun in the morning peak. Morons.

What I do find annoying is a lack of punctuality in sentences that makes it very hard to follow the paragraph as it is written its simple really so whats the point of not using it Also when people write really long posts and cant split it up a bit with paragraphs it makes me want to skip half the post or what have you The worst people for this are usually the English speaking world where we have gotten lazy and start using text speak like its the in thing or something and they even speak like it sometimes and those who use the wrong words like effect instead of affect or is it the other way round Most of all I dislike those who just cant be bothered to read through what they wite and make obious mistakes when they are easily correted Life would be so much easier if people could type the language as it was meant to be rather than a half baked lazy and down right wrong version of it that has been made up during the lunch break at school just to sound cool or hip

^ North Lanarkshire Council. "Sorry, we won't fix the dangerous roads, but we'll put a 50 foot tall sign on the middle of a roundabout to remind people to look right".

How about Edinburgh's; "Sorry, we won't repair some of the worst roads in the city, instead, we're going to put badly made speed bumps in places that don't need them"

2360760867_e82a459231.jpg

The speed bumps are the smoothest bits of this road.
Interestingly, the junction I was standing at, they decided to extend the pavement out on the junction, meaning that only one car could get through at a time, making it more dangerous than it already was. And in true Edinburgh Council style, they covered over the drain on the corner so the road flooded and they had to redo it within a couple of weeks.

^^the bits to make one car go through at a time is to stop speeding - especially if the area has a problem with joy riding...

There isn't a problem with joyriding, you can't really speed through it anyway, you'd either wreck your car or crash, plus, it's effectively one lane beyond that anyway because of cars parked on both sides of the road.
All it has done is make the junction more dangerous than it was before.

Laughing here. Given you didn't punctuate your post at all (I didn't see one full stop, comma or apostrophe...)

You know what really burns my bacon? Bad drivers.

-People speeding up to 40, in a 30, and going 30, in a 40. WHY?!?!?!?
-Road hoggers.
-People who don't indicate.
-Old people who can't use the clutch properly and so feel it necessary to rev it up to 6,500 RPM and take ten minutes to reach 30. Holy blown engine batman.

I also hate it when I know someone drives their car to the point of engine labouring. i.e., the mentality that the faster they change gear, the more fuel they save, despite realising that the 'shuddering' is actually the engine under strain and often uses more fuel than being in the right gear with regards to the torque and power curve of the engine.

I'm too easily annoyed :(

One of the most irritating things is when postmen, paperboys and junkmail deliverers only push items half way through ya letterbox; especially in the winter as it lets all the heat out and the cold draught in! :x

Americans, and America. Yurgh. And the French. And France. We would solve the landfill problem if we just turned France into the worlds biggest landfill, and they all moved to Wales and Lithuania.

Oh and to solve our national debt problem, retake America, put huge taxes on fuel and watch the riots.

And of course burglars then know that you're not in the house.

People using the word 'loose' (which is the opposite of 'tight') when they mean 'lose'! Another one which seems to be a common mistake is 'formerly' and 'formally'.

People who are cocky and think they are always right, and people who dont seem to realise others make mistakes!

What irritates me is annoyingly noisy schoolkids on my train to work, yes, it's only 12 minutes and 3 stops, but it's 12 minutes of white noise too much thank you very muchly. Thank god for the iPod. :D

Oh, and drivers of motorised vehicles. Well, most of them anyway.

Another thing that I want to add to my gripe sheet:
TV channels not making all of their programs available via their on-demand "catch up" services for a reasonable amount of time, and/or not making such programs available immediateley following broadcast.

I've been waiting a while to see the explaination of how Derren Brown "guessed" the Lotto numbers on Wednesday, and despite it being over an hour since the program was broadcast on UHF it still hasn't appeared on the 4oD (Four on Demand) service yet!:(

Loads of things - I can list quite a few:

Kids who play ****ty music on their phones at full blast. For ****'s sake put some headphones on - not everyone enjoys listening to some black guy on crack rapping over a 170 bpm beat with lots of extraneous noise .

People who always think they're right

Litter. Ok local councils need to put out more bins but is there any need to chuck a can of lager on the grass; you could just pick it up?

People who slam doors in your face

Chavs who consider a night drinking to excess on a park bench to be an evening out. Strangely enough the police never turn up to move them on

Ha ha, I agree with you about the mobile phone music. Lets face it, It's never anything good. I wouldn't mind if just occasionally it was a good tune like "nights in white satin" or "Scarborough fair". Same goes for booming music in cars.

I don't like rude people who can't even use basic etiquette. Please and thank you are the basics but it doesn't hurt to be grateful.

I don't like people who smoke a lot. I don't mean I HATE it, I just don't like it.

I don't like the fact that I can't type very well and half of the time I want to use an apostrophe I end up typing can;t instead if can't!!!

I get irritated by my own shortcomings and my sometimes lack of drive to get something done.

What irritates me?

People with the surname "Brown"
****ing Gordon. ****ing Derren. Those 2 ought to be enough to convince the world that all people with that surname should be eradicated forthwith.

What is more annoying than neds with music is people who complain about neds with music but who don't do anything about it ;).
