Nah, at the moment its more like

This Hellfire Aerox 50
fotozqdxsdehtr4.jpg

Fully tuned and can top 80mph
Are you serious/metal? You want to do 80mph on an Aerox (if it really can)? You'd basically be issuing yourself a death certificate. Wouldn't it rattle itself to bits, and the plastic start to melt?

Still, myself and OL Leigh could still lose you easy enough on our 500cc Maxis 8-)

I'm not getting the above, just saying I'm not up to car tuning yet. But It would be fun for sure going at 80 on an Aerox!

I think you should get this one. It's got 'Aerox' fairly prominently positioned on the side and everything:

Good luck at traffic lights, you be eating my dust. As I can get to 30 quicker than you. ;)

Is that a challenge.. Traction/launch control is good fun in the golf, and it probably has more power in the radio than in your ped.

0-30 in about 2 seconds for me, and if I can get through the gears quick enough, 60 in 7 seconds..

Me and 'BillEWS' could probably speak to each other and no else have a clue what we're saying.

"Fit like the noo quiney?"

"Nae bad like min, hows you iday? fit hiv you been up tul?"

"Och nae muckle"

Translates to:

"How are you girl"

"Not bad like man, hows you today? what have you been upto?"

"Oh, not much"

Aww they loons upun Eburdeen  I can honestly say that I don't understand "proper Aberdonians", but I quite like the softer accent.

Scots is a nicer language/dialect. Rabbie Burns aw the way! Nedwegian is pretty horrendous, though: "Yer a dobber!"

That's what also annoys me; Neds/Chavs!

Also:
  • Anatomy demonstrators who cut through the Linea Alba, event though we were specifically told not to...
  • My inability to get up at 7am
  • The men cutting the trees in front of the Botanic Gardens today
  • The smell inside the large bowel

The Mac discussion has been moved to Chat.
Is that a statement that ye made as a Moderator to let us know where all the posts have gone, or were ye taking part in the discussion and have become annoyed by it's move?:razz:

One thing that does annoy me is people who can't drive, but think they can. Lack of indicators and such. Grrrr.
I ought to confess: High cost of running wasn't the only reason that I got rid of my car recently...:oops:

I could lose him in this... http://xs233.xs.to/xs233/08471/dsc01767_9628122458_np976.jpg

If ye guys like thy vehicles very light, very flimsy, and with engines that whine more than the average Emo, that's perfectly fine by me...But I like a bit of power in my pull, personally! <D

My following choice of vehicles - Though not really ideal for the usual skid-mark racing - Are much better and more resilient on longer distance pursuits, and would probabally beat ye all in hill-climbing events with the maximum SWL in freight aboard... ;)
  • Vanhool AGG-300 Bi-articulated bus (Think bendy-bus with two trailers! <D) 10-14L engine options (Plus turbo), easily space for a second engine on the rear trailer, and - If ye remove all of the passenger seating - Ye have more than enough space (And suspension capability) to build TWO complete Valenta sets into the thing! <D
  • Class 142/143 or 153 with steering rack added to front bogie, rear bogie locked in forward position, all conventional wheels replaced with pneumatic tyred HGV wheels...Power assisted steering optional! <D
  • Ditto above with a complete IC-125 or APT-P set (In latter case, with a spare 50 or 66 raked in to provide traction power!:lol:)<D
Failing any of the above three though, I could still get ye in any well-built Volvo. True, I'd be the last across the line...But unlike thy vehicles, mine would probabally be able to take a full-on T-bone smash at 80mph... ;)

--- Alt nächricht oben / Neu nächricht untern: ---

And as I didn't want to clag up the board with yet another new thread (That, and the old photoshop thread got locked by the looks!) I thought I'd share this as well - A scan-in of one of the birthday cards I received recently... 8)

OK, the joke's rather contrived I know...But it's amusing nonetheless! :lol::D<D

The former ;) I moved them over to chat as they were just about over the off-topic boundary. I said where they were moved to so that those in the discussion could continue it if they so wanted (and also so they knew the posts weren't deleted)!

A customer walked past me this morning, read a sign saying the toilets were closed for refurbishment, watched a guy with a big mallet work on knocking the walls down and listened as his colleague used a pneumatic drill to break the floor up and then asked me......

"......are the toilets closed then?"

<Rant alert! :shock:>
I've got a few more to pop in now...
  • P.C. World: (Or should that be "P***y Werld"?) <(
On Wednesday I decided to go out and look at buying a new Netbook PC (Eventually decided to go for the Asus Eee-PC 900) and PC World's stock system verified that they had six units in stock. However...I went to buy it yesterday, got given the runaround for an hour and a half (Apparently, they couldn't find what I was after), told to come back today, when they gave me another two hour runaround. <(<(
(A full report/rant can be read in My latest weblog entry once the host server has decided to start working again.)

So tonight - A good 48 hours after I was supposed to be purchasing the thing - I've still got no netbook, I've wasted a good four hours of my time at PC World trying to arrange a solution to the matter, and I'm getting ever more peed off with their obscene incompetance!:mad:<(

Oh well, I should be having the last laugh in the end: I'm going to knock £10,- off of the price for every hour that they keep messing me about, and they cannot ignore the first rule of customer service in such a matter - Because The customer is always right...
...Especially a customer who can wield and use a 40" plasma-screen TV as a quite effective close-combat weapon... <D
    .
  • Brinkster:
I've been using these guys as my webhost of choice for at least ten long years now - Mainly because they support most ASP functionality and their hosting is normally quite reliable - But for some reason tonight, the server that runs my website has not been responding to any form of request or other call that I've been making...Rendering my website useless for the immediate term, and code testing has gone right out of the window.

Admittedly...The hosting account that I'm using is a free one, and thus I don't mind a bit of downtime as these shared servers are often used for code testing and development (Well, ye get what ye pay for, eh? 8))...But they don't want to have it down for more than another hour or two... <(
    .
  • Asda/Tesco:
Every time that I've gone into either of these stores to buy something over the past two weeks, at least two of the items that I've been wanting to buy have been out of stock...And I have to wonder how on earth any high-street business can get away with being so incompetant at stock management and supply practices. As far as I'm concerned; If I need to purchase a specific product, it should be there on the shelf - In sufficient quantity - Whenever I get there to purchase it! <(

I'm especially peed off with Asda tonight, as up until recently they were stocking a cheap brand of tobacco that I rather like...Yet only today I'd learned that the oh-so-mysterious "head office" decided at the drop of a hat that the store shall no longer be selling that brand. They gave neither the store nor it's customers any warning whatsoever that the line would be widthdrawn (By my own trading policy - To which they have already become bound - They are required to give a minimum thirty days notice of line widthdrawl.) and have left those of us who like our strong tobaccos right in the lurch! <(<(<(

I haven't been able to get Tesco Value Milk Chocolate for about a month now. I reckon they should get my Logistics lecturer on the case ;)

That's one of the lines that I've been having regular difficulty getting recently. According to a manager at Tesco Sandhurst, they'd been having a "product quality issue" or something like that recently...But personally I think that's total bull, and Tesco are trying to force everyone onto buying their standard-quality own brand stuff!<(

I'm hoping that someone at Tesco realises before it's too late that such a practice is illegal. With many families struggling to pay the bills as it is, everyone has a Gods-given right to lower quality goods at affordable and reasonable prices...And though Tesco may have more legal weight than I do as a person, I'm sure that their managing director wouldn't want to argue the toss with me if I had a very sharp and vicious looking Sword held to his throat! ;)<D

In any case: In trading with me over the years, Tesco have become irrevocably locked into my own personal trading policy that both overrides any policy that they have for dealing with customers, extends my statutory rights in several areas, and - Amongst other things - Prevents them from withdrawing lines without giving at least a months notice...And only then if I grant my own consent for that line to be widthdrawn! <D

On the bright side though: Asda still appear to be selling their smart-price chocolate at about 24p a bar at the moment, and that's more or less the same as the Tesco Value stuff! 8)

I'm looking for a picture of a Ribbon, without a background (so transparent, not just white), and whatever I put in never works. I get pictures of ribbons with white backgrounds.

Here's a few tips for ye Brandon:
  • Search Google Images for "ribbon filetype:gif",
  • Find a suitable image with any plain background to it (Colour doesn't matter.),
  • GIF images normally only have one colour index on the background (If they're well engineered) or otherwise the background might be transparent anyway,
  • Copy said image into Paint, and right-click on the background with the fill tool to "white-out" the background,
  • Manipulate the image as normal, and set background transparency using another program if necessary. 8)
Hope this helps! <D

Glad your in London, Tom ;) No, I'm looking for a picture of a Ribbon, without a background (so transparent, not just white), and whatever I put in never works. I get pictures of ribbons with white backgrounds.

Photoshop the white background into a transparent one.
