And same train home, what are the chances of that.323216 on its own today (again).
Travelling on it, it's the 0927 Redditch to Litchfield Trent Valley service.
Sundays it's Redditch to Lichfield only now, sadly the Bromsgroves are 730, two diagrams only and only do Bromsgrove to Birmingham New Street.323222 has just come out to play on the 1236 bhm to LTV, starting from bhm instead of brom
It lasted a few hours, now back at Soho.If all goes well, 323214 will be on the Bromsgrove circuit tomorrow according to post on 323/730 group
323's operate three out of the eleven Crosscity M-Sa diagrams, and these have remained the same since 22Jul. Two operate Four Oaks-Redditch and one Lichfield TV-Bromsgrove. The Redditch diagram repeats every 2h30m and the Bromsgrove every 3h.Can anyone help me please ?
I am making my first visit to the Midlands for many years tomorrow (7th August) and if possible would like to photo a 323 in their WM Orange colours. It seems they are very rare now, but could anyone tell me the best place to go from BHM to see them and does anyone have any up to date diagrams for them this week ?
Thanks !

It will be out in the afternoon, it's off to tyseley for tyre turning https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:K17343/2024-08-07/detailedI can't promise you won't get the special green Centro liveried unit (323221) but I don't think it's been out for a few days.

I created a 'ready reckoner' for Kings Norton, which I shared on this thread and repeat here. It has never let me down. Note though, it's not an exact timetable - the real thing may be a minute or two out either way.
Wherever you decide to go use RTT, Traksy or Railcam, to find the headcode and see whether it is on the list.

There are plenty of places to get shot's.
Hope you are successful.
When I witnessed 323214 , with 323240, today Tuesday 06th August 2024, 323214 has lost its Soho depot labels on the side, plus it's name Wylde Green, still has side West Midlands Railways and logos on the side, however it's name Wylde Green and Soho lmd labels have been removed and gone. Since I last observed it on The Monday 08th July 2024, with the soho lmd depot stickers and Wylde Green name still applied when 323240 took it to Soho from Wolverton.323's operate three out of the eleven Crosscity M-Sa diagrams, and these have remained the same since 22Jul. Two operate Four Oaks-Redditch and one Lichfield TV-Bromsgrove. The Redditch diagram repeats every 2h30m and the Bromsgrove every 3h.
