There's a long established tradition of a certain level of semi-institutionalised crime in some of the outer northern and southern reaches of Glasgow. But it is remarkable that another internet forum dedicated to the built environment across our diverse globe has a thread called:
The 'not in any way suspicious' buildings gutted by fire thread
it seems that Glasgow still has a special status!
Some of the most beautiful buildings in that city have been featured on that site, including the magnificent 'Colliseum' right next to the WCML as it crosses the Clyde on the eastern side; it was still there a year ago, and appears in many rail enthusiasts' pictures, but has now been lost.

No, but I knew (and travveled on) a bus route which, in its darkest times, experienced a stabbing on a weekend night at a rate of more than one a week. Who would work such services in 2011 ? Perhaps some private operator but surely no nation-wide operator employing Union members?Have you seen Glasgow Zoo lately ??
